Let’s see, where will I begin so that you will know a little bit about me. I have been crafting for over 35 years and scrapbooking for over 6 years. I took to scrapbooking like a duck to water. Scrapbooking became my art, like a soul awaking outlet for my creativity and love. I have ventured into just about every kind of craft out there and have participated in craft shows for years, but scrapbooking gives me more satisfaction than anything I have ever done. I became involved in scrapbooking when my husband was deployed overseas and I was home alone and going crazy.
Since then I have taught scrapbooking workshops over the last 4 years, attended classes and become a CKU, SDU grad, SDU masters grad, and Friskars certified Demonstrator. I have also been commissioned to do albums for clients.
I started this venture when my local scrapbook store was closing. I had worked, taught and cropped at this store for 5 years. I just could not bear to see this outlet lost. The friendships gained were too important to me and others to let it go. So, as my husband put it when I told him they where selling out and closing the store, “Well, you better get busy, I know you can do this.” So I took a big breath and jumped in with both feet so that we can all have a gathering place to work on projects, to work on scrapbooking or any craft you like. I strive to make it like the old quilting circle of ladies, gathering together, working on projects, passing on techniques and sharing life’s stories. Come, enjoy a time of fellowship as we meet to share our passion.

I
have been a "crafty" person for as long as I can remember. My
Mom taught me how to crochet and knit when I was very young. I
have always had cross stitch or quilts or something going!
Three years ago mydaughter introduced me to scrapbooking and I was
hooked. One of the things I enjoy most is going through old
photos and getting them organized, restored and saved. In the
process of going from shoe boxes and under the bed containers, I
found Creative Memories. My Sister has been a consultant for
five years or so, and now I have decided to join in. I am
really excited to be able to share our part of the scrapbook world
with fellow "scrappers".
My first passion in life is my family and pets. Bob is my
hubby and I have two grown kids. My two granddaughters are the
joy of my life. Then there are our two Chihuahuas and our
sheltie, who provide a lot of comedy daily.

I am a stay at home Mom to two great kids; Kaitlyn, my Sixth grader…..she like her Mom, has her “own way of looking at the world” and Sloan my eight year old is all boy! A Military wife for 20 years (DH is now retired from active duty), we have had the opportunity to live from coast to coast, overseas and few places in between. I am a Scrap Booker, Altered Artist, Rubber Stamper, Sewer, Crafter and a Lover of vintage jewelry and buttons and ephemera. I have never really thought about crafting as a hobby, for me it has always been a passion (of course my DH may disagree, saying it is an obsession). From the time I was a little girl making outfits for my dolls from fabric scraps; to when I was in high school and sewed Cabbage Patch doll clothes to sell at a local craft faire. . . I have always loved to create……no matter what the medium.
I joined the scrapbooking craze about thirteen years ago….then, pregnant with my first child I wanted to start a baby album. Embellishments back then, pretty much consisted of stickers and die-cuts. Ladies, we’ve come a long way.........now, we are only limited by our imagination! I have had the wonderful privilege to take classes and learn from some the creative legends of the industry like: Tim Holtz, Suze Weinburg and Michelle Charles. I’ve never been afraid to think out of the box when creating or teaching, my thought is……..it’s only paper.
