Let’s see, where will I begin so that you will know a little bit about me. I have been crafting for over 35 years and scrapbooking for over 6 years. I took to scrapbooking like a duck to water. Scrapbooking became my art, like a soul awaking outlet for my creativity and love. I have ventured into just about every kind of craft out there and have participated in craft shows for years, but scrapbooking gives me more satisfaction than anything I have ever done. I became involved in scrapbooking when my husband was deployed overseas and I was home alone and going crazy.
Since then I have taught scrapbooking workshops over the last 4 years, attended classes and become a CKU, SDU grad, SDU masters grad, and Friskars certified Demonstrator. I have also been commissioned to do albums for clients.
I started this venture when my local scrapbook store was closing. I had worked, taught and cropped at this store for 5 years. I just could not bear to see this outlet lost. The friendships gained were too important to me and others to let it go. So, as my husband put it when I told him they where selling out and closing the store, “Well, you better get busy, I know you can do this.” So I took a big breath and jumped in with both feet so that we can all have a gathering place to work on projects, to work on scrapbooking or any craft you like. I strive to make it like the old quilting circle of ladies, gathering together, working on projects, passing on techniques and sharing life’s stories.
